Axe-Throwing Rules :

Axe-Thrower Limit: 40 Throwers at one time (5 Throwers per lane)

Find a baby sitter. The minimum age for Smack My Axe is 12+.

Anyone under 18 requires a parent/guardian to be present at all times.

Protect your precious toes. Don’t take the risk.. No one likes deformed feet.

Wear proper shoes or you won’t be allowed to Smack My Axe.

Educate your "Fat-Axe". Safety training will be required for every guest by a trained instructor.

Yes, even if you’ve Smacked My Axe before.

Give us your autograph. All customers are required to sign a Waiver of Liability

explaining that they understand the rules and etiquette of Smack My Axe.

Under 18 will require a parent’s/guardian’s signature.

This isn’t the circus; So Don’t be a clown. Trick shots or double axe throws are only allowed for the worthy.

DO NOT attempt or else your an "Axe-hole".

Stay in your lane. This isn’t the freeway. Swinging our big axe around all over the place

will get your reckless Axe booted.

One Axe at a time. Only one person is allowed to smack my axe at a time. This isn’t a doubles sport.

Points

Each individual match consists of 10 throws/competitor

The black line awards points associated with the ring

6 points for the red bullseye

5 points for the green bullseye

4 points for the 3rd ring

3 points for the 4th ring

2 points for the 5th ring

1 point for the 6th ring

8 points for the blue dots, also known as the ‘Kill Shot’

* The kill shot is ONLY available on the tenth and final throw of the match.

Otherwise the blue dots are worth 1 point (the value of the ring they are in) *

Scoring Rules

Touching the Line: If the axe is in two rings simultaneously, then the player

is awarded the points for the higher valued ring.

Stick and Stay: The axe must remain in the target for the throw to count.

Oddball Throws: On the rare occasion that the axe sticks to the target

with the back of the blade, the shaft of the axe or any other part of the

axe, the throw still counts and points awarded accordingly.

Questionable Score: SMA Axe Master shall judge and make final calls on

scoring.

What is the minimum age to participate?

The minimum age required to throw axes is 12+. Our standard waiver needs to be signed by a parent or guardian for any minor (anyone under the age of 18) to participate. Groups of minors must be accompanied by an adult, while unsupervised minors are not allowed on the premises.

What if I need to cancel or change my event date

We have a cancellation policy that allows for refunds if notice is at least 7 days before scheduled event. We can also change the event date with 24 hours' notice, subject to availability.

Can I sign a waiver in advance?

Yes, waivers can be signed online. When your lane is successfully booked, you will receive an email with a link to the waiver form. If you can't don't worry, you can always sign on site.

Do you do anything special for birthdays?

We do! The birthday person throws FREE*! Speak to one of our customer service reps while booking or your coach when you arrive. *Cannot be combined with other offers or events.

How does the event deposit work?

To Secure your event, a deposit is required, which is fully refundable up to 7 days before the scheduled event. The deposit is refunded upon arrival, and the bill can be settled at the end of the event. Please note that it may take 3-5 business days for the deposit to appear back on your card.
